Deepika Padukone Says "Mother is Inspiration For Me"

Recently, Deepika Padukone won the Woman of the Year award at the International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) Weekend. This moment she praised her mother, who always stay on backseat.

Deepika Padukone is a daughter of popular badminton player Prakash Padukone and the sister of emerging golf player. Deepika Padukone told to reporters on this occasion that her mother always stay on backseat but she always inspires us and keep us integrated. Although, as a family, we inspire each other but my mother is key inspiration for me.

The shinning star of film industry also added that she has gone through different phases of her career. I have played many challenging roles in movies like cocktail, Om Shanti Om as double role, and recent movie.

Deepika is not from film industry still has made her unique identity in this industry. The Piku fame star said cocktail was the turning point of her career. She regards piku as the right choice of her career. In which she played the role of selfless and caring daughter in which she doesn't marry for the sake of her father.

On many occasion Deepika Padukone can be seen with her mother. Recently, she has endorsed a jewelry brand with her mother and their chemistry is looking best. She also talked about anxiety and depression with her mother.
