What are benefits of Apple?

It is common proverb that an apple keeps a doctor away. There are multiple health benefits of apple. It gives you whiter teeth, reduces the risk of stroke, improves stamina, etc. You can have apple juice and eat apple directly.

Get whiter, healthier teeth:-An apple won’t replace your toothbrush, but biting and chewing an apple stimulates the production of saliva in your mouth, reducing tooth decay by lowering the levels of bacteria.

Prevent dementia:- It is the main benefit of dementia. Researchers at Cornell University conducted a study, published in the Journal of Food Science, which found evidence to suggest that apples may help "protect neuron cells against oxidative stress-induced neurotoxicity", which could reduce the risk of developing neurodegenerative disorders such as Alzheimer's disease.

Reduce your risk of stroke:-A study involving 9,208 men and women showed that those who ate the most apples over a 28-year period had the lowest risk for stroke. The researchers concluded "the results suggest that the intake of apples is related to a decreased risk of thrombotic stroke."4

Exercise Extender:-It is one of the most discussed benefits of Apple. Eating an apple before you work out may boost your exercise endurance. Apples deliver an antioxidant called quercetin, which aids endurance by making oxygen more available to the lungs. One study showed that quercetin—when taken in supplement form—helped people bike longer.

Diabetes:-Three servings of apples (and other fruits, such as blueberries and grapes) is linked to a 7 percent lower risk of type 2 diabetes. This may be due to their beneficial role in blood sugar regulation, as apples contain compounds that may.

Cancer:-Apples have a number of properties that may help reduce the risk of cancer, including antimutagenic activity, antioxidant activity, anti-inflammatory mechanisms, antiproliferative and apoptosis-inducing activity, as well as "novel mechanisms on epigenetic events and innate immunity." According to the journal Planta Medica.

Contain Vitamin C:-Apple fruit contains good quantities of vitamin-C and beta-carotene. Vitamin C is a powerful natural antioxidant. Consumption of foods rich in vitamin C helps the body develop resistance against infectious agents and scavenge harmful, pro-inflammatory free radicals from the body.

Vitamin A:-Apples provide a small amount of skin-friendly vitamin A, a family of chemicals called retinoids. Vitamin A plays an important role in skin development -- it helps immature skin develop into mature and functional skin tissue. Vitamin A might also reduce the risk of skin cancer, according to the Linus Pauling Institute, although more research is needed to know its exact role in cancer prevention. A large apple provides 120 international units of vitamin A. According to the Linus Pauling Institute, this makes up 5 percent of the daily vitamin A requirements for women or 4 percent for men.
